Scary Movie 6
At a recent Spooky Empire event in Florida, actors Dave Sheridan and Kane Hodder shared that Felissa Rose will be making an appearance in Scary Movie 6. As reported by Dread Central, her role involves a scene that humorously targets Terrifier 3, particularly a moment where Art the Clown causes chaos in a mall setting. This sequence was initially removed from the film but has now been restored in a more refined version of the edit. In this blood-soaked scene, Rose finds herself covered in gore while also featuring Terrifier producer Michael Leavy.
Blood Rush
Deadline has announced a new vampire-western titled Blood Rush, which will star a talented cast including Danielle Bisutti, Billy Zane, Henry Ian Cusick, William McNamara, Christina Moore, Colin Cunningham, Ken Davitian, and Robert Craighead. Directed by both Stefan Colson and Bisutti, the story unfolds in 1881 during the American West’s gold rush era. It centers around Lucifer’s offspring, Lilith and Aamon, who are the original vampires arriving in America to drain the life force from hopeful citizens invigorated by the American Dream. However, their plans to reclaim their dark legacy are complicated when a familiar figure appears, threatening to expose their true identities unless his tangled feelings towards them don’t get in the way.
A Body in the Woods
Additionally, Deadline reports that Emma Roberts will take on the role of Alice Lincoln in A Body in the Woods. Set at the dawn of the 20th century within the eerie Marshall Woods—an area long associated with the sinister tales of a witch—Alice must confront her fears when she is left alone in a remote cabin to watch over the body of an unidentified miner. Strange disturbances emerge from the shadows, leading Alice to suspect that the corpse may not be at peace. A mysterious woman lurking at the edge of the forest puts Alice in a surreal nightmare, trapped between a gathering evil within and the nameless dread waiting just outside her door. Stephen Cognetti is set to direct.
Ascendant
In another horror flick, Richard Brake and KateLynn E. Newberry are slated to star in Ascendant, directed by Phil Blattenberger. Brake takes on the role of a charismatic but deranged cult leader who showcases his supposed supernatural abilities, ranging from telekinetically lighting candles to conducting horrific human sacrifices. Newberry plays a determined woman who infiltrates the cult in her quest to find her missing sister.
